Thank you to everyone who attended the Celebrate & Elevate Auction Fundraiser! This was the first event held in our brand new, dedicated pickleball facility. It’s been a long road for our members, staff, and board to get here, and we were so happy to celebrate this huge milestone together! A special thank you to the Just-US Band band for playing live music and keeping things groovy! Dick Lester, Evy Gillin, and Bryan Noyd shared a short presentation on WRAC’s rich history, beginning in 1961, and shared some of our future plans to serve the member-owners who make our club so special. The silent and live auction portions of the evening were a huge success, raising funds for future facility improvements for our Wellness and Court Sports departments. Together, we are better. Thank you to all of the local businesses and individuals who donated auction items and desserts to this event! Your support for community and wellness in the Wenatchee Valley will make a lasting difference. SUMMER SWIM TEAM just wrapped up their season and we want to congratulate the following standouts:
We could not have a swim team, nor host meets without Wenatchee City Pool which has allowed us to rent their pool for these events. We thank them for that but do look forward to some day when we might have a pool large enough to host our own meets at the WRAC. If you are interested in the long term aquatic facility planning, let me know and I'll get you connected with the Facility Committee who would love your ideas and involvement.
