WRAC Board Meetings are normally held on the third Wednesday of each month from 12:15-1:30 p.m.
​​Members are always invited and encouraged to attend these meetings.

Past President of the club has rejoined the team. He can be found out on the courts having a great time, now in his retirement from his career with the E. Wenatchee Water District.

RICARDO DIAZ

Ricardo has dedicated his entire career to the fruit industry. He is an agricultural engineer with a Master of Science in Horticulture, a Master of Arts in Agribusiness, both from Washington State University. He has more than 20 years of experience in the global fresh produce industry, helping to bring innovative, technology-based products to fruit growers around the world.
He moved to Wenatchee with his wife, Carolina, and children Bruno, Martin, and Laura, in 2019. Having access to the WRAC was a plus when choosing Wenatchee as their new home. Everyone in the family plays tennis. You can easily recognize them for their crazy (clay court) top spin and shouting “Vamos” after winning difficult points.

CAROLYN DOWELL

Carolyn Dowell has more than 30 years managing staff and 20+ years in managing budgets at Wenatchee Valley Medical Center/Confluence Health. She earned her way up the ranks to become the VP of Operations/Outpatient Services. She knows management and finance. Carolyn is one of those strong, flexible, calm and graceful people who participate in Yoga, Total Body Strength and Cardio Barre.

I grew up at the club and have lived next door for years.  My passion is playing that "yellow ball" game and have enjoyed being part of the club as a Board member.

My wife, Darillyn, and I have lived in Wenatchee since 1987 raising four children.  We have been members and enthusiastic supports of the WRAC for over twenty years.  I retired from Wenatchee School District in 2019 after thirty-two years of service with my last nineteen years as superintendent.  I am excited about the opportunity to service on the WRAC Board.  I believe the WRAC has a unique service model in our valley as an athletic club by providing racquet sports, fitness programs and swimming opportunities.  I am committed to continuing the excellent programs, family atmosphere, great staff and increasing membership, programs and facility improvements moving forward. ​

DICK LESTER

I have been a member of the WRAC since 1991. My wife, Ellen, and I have always been active participants at the club with tennis, fitness and yoga being our areas of interest. Our two sons enjoyed the facilities and activities at the club as they grew up. Retired now from an airline career I'm looking forward to seeing the WRAC grow and continue the full service and family friendly atmosphere that was important to us.

After a over 35 year career as the Hydro-Wireman Foreman at Rocky Reach Dam, Cindy retired in 2015. She joined her husband Lance's, and now their shared, passion for the game of tennis and you'll now find her on the court or in fitness classes most days of the week when she is not riding bikes, paddle boarding, playing with grandkids.

Bryan has served several terms on the board, and has taken his turn as board chair twice. He currently serves as Board Treasurer. He was a restaurant operator for 25 years, and currently is a partner in a small local winery/cidery as well as a partner in local real estate development projects.
Bryan is married to Cyndi and the WRAC has been a very important part of their lives for over 30 years. Both of their children grew up at the WRAC and they quickly began beating their parents at tennis. They enjoy all the different activities the club has to offer.

The 2012 Fitness Challenge introduced me to the WRAC.  Exercise is much more enjoyable with goals in mind and friends alongside. I am a fitness and racquetball member, and you'll usually see me in group classes, especially yoga. I also make good use of the weight and cardio center to prepare for the rigors of teaching skiing at Mission Ridge. The WRAC is a welcoming community of people who enjoy physical activity. Join us!
