LEIGH SMITH First name Jessica, however friends and family have always called me by my middle name Leigh (pronounced "Lee"). I answer to both and do not have a preference. My membership with the WRAC began (?) so I could take yoga classes from Dean Marney. Slowly I tried other fitness classes and have sincerely enjoyed my membership. Following COVID yoga instructors were in short supply so with a big push from Dean, I became certified to teach yoga. Teaching yoga was always on the bucket list and I was thrilled to be part of the really wonderful staff of yoga instructors at the WRAC.

I like the fitness classes because of the variety of activities (particularly in Connie's classes) and the fact that knowing the groups meet at a set time and place motivates me to get out and get an active workout. - Ann Baye
I love that the focus is fitness, and not trying to look better than everyone else. Also, it’s so relational at the WRAC! We all get to know each other (members AND employees), and it makes it a much more welcoming and comfortable place to be. The WRAC is unlike any other gym I’ve been to! - Heather Baldwin |
