SWIM INSTRUCTORS:
Swim Instructors are responsible for providing small group or private swim lessons using WRAC instruction progressions. Ideal candidates possess great communication skills to engage, motivate and instruct children of all ages while delivering superior customer service to diverse groups of people of all ages from all social and economic segments of the community. Candidates must feel comfortable working as part of a team, have the desire to pitch in when needed and stay positive throughout these experiences. LIFEGUARDS: Lifeguards are responsible for ensuring the safety of all WRAC patrons by preventing and responding to emergencies. Ideal candidates possess the ability to work under pressure while staying alert and always ready to act in the event of an emergency. Candidates will be able to communicate with all ages while delivering superior customer service to diverse groups of people of all ages from all social and economic segments of the community. SUMMER SWIM TEAM COACHES:
Under the direction and supervision of the Aquatics Director, Swim Team Coaches are responsible for the operation of the swim team including organizing, completing assigned tasks, communicating with parents and volunteers and working with swimmers during workouts and meets. The Head Coach must be knowledgeable in competitive swimming and the instruction of amateur swimmers.
JOB TYPE:
Under the direction and supervision of the Aquatics Director, Swim Team Coaches are responsible for the operation of the swim team including organizing, completing assigned tasks, communicating with parents and volunteers and working with swimmers during workouts and meets. The Head Coach must be knowledgeable in competitive swimming and the instruction of amateur swimmers.
- Lead daily practices
- Supervise the swimmers during practices, meets and any other swim periods
- Teach proper stroke techniques while coaching
- Create lineups for all swim meets
- Assist with the preparation, operation and clean up of home swim meets
- May need to perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors
- Attend scheduled training sessions and meetings
- Work with the assistant coaches on time management, practice structure, award distribution procedures, record keeping for swimmers and overall aptitude for coaching.
- Comply with dress code and present yourself as a professional representative of the WRAC
JOB TYPE:
- Hours will vary based on practice and meet times
- Means of transportation required
- Anticipated Employment Period: June 15 through July 25, 2026 plus pre-season training to be scheduled.
- Compensation/Benefits: Season Stipend; club membership

- Light construction, painting, HVAC and electrical work
- Lamp replacement
- Irrigation system maintenance
- Pool mechanical system maintenance
- Maintain supply stock and organize storage rooms
- Do everything possible to keep the club grounds and facilities in good repair, maintained, safe and attractive year round.
- Supervise temporary and permanent maintenance staff when project requires additional help to complete.
