WRAC SUMMER SWIM TEAM COACH 
Under the direction and supervision of the Aquatics Director, Swim Team Coaches are responsible for the operation of the swim team including organizing, completing assigned tasks, communicating with parents and volunteers and working with swimmers during workouts and meets. The Head Coach must be knowledgeable in competitive swimming and the instruction of amateur swimmers.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
​Under the direction and supervision of the Aquatics Director, Swim Team Coaches are responsible for the operation of the swim team including organizing, completing assigned tasks, communicating with parents and volunteers and working with swimmers during workouts and meets. The Head Coach must be knowledgeable in competitive swimming and the instruction of amateur swimmers. 
  • Lead daily practices
  • Supervise the swimmers during practices, meets and any other swim periods
  • Teach proper stroke techniques while coaching
  • Create lineups for all swim meets
  • Assist with the preparation, operation and clean up of home swim meets
  • May need to perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors
  • Attend scheduled training sessions and meetings
  • Work with the assistant coaches on time management, practice structure, award distribution procedures, record keeping for swimmers and overall aptitude for coaching.
  • Comply with dress code and present yourself as a professional representative of the WRAC

ASSISTANT TENNIS PROFESSIONAL:

Description:  The WRAC seeks a high energy, hardworking, ambitious and passionate person with a great personality, skilled in tennis instruction and ready to work!  
The Assistant Pro will work, directly with Racquet Sports Director, to build and grow the broad schedule of private and group instructional opportunities, assist with socials, tournaments and play programs as well as complete administrative work. 
WRAC team member needs to be: 
· Someone with a passion for tennis and pickleball, as well as the ability to inspire others as they represent the club within our community.
· An individual with the ability to recruit and enthusiastically encourage member participation in programs and competitive events.
· A skilled instructor with the ability to provide private and group lessons to all ages and skill levels.
Additional opportunities may include (as qualified for):
  • Pickleball Instruction    - Racquet Stringing
  • Personal Training        - Fitness Instruction
DESIRED EXPERIENCE/ MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
· 2 years of teaching experience preferred
· USPTA and/or PTR Certified
· Level of Play 4.5+ or collegiate level competitive experience
· Positive attitude, engaging, honest, respectful, dedicated and caring, with a sincere desire to provide a high level of personalized service
· Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. High professional skills.
Compensation / Benefits:
Hourly Pay plus commission based
Employee Relationship / At Will Employer

  • Hours: mornings, evenings and/or Saturday mornings
  • Qualities we are looking for: Fun loving, outgoing personality with experience caring for infants through age 6.
  • Requires: CPR/AED Certification; criminal background check

MEMBER SERVICES REPRESENTATIVE:

​This position is perfect for someone who is sports-minded, enjoys fitness and loves to have fun! The WRAC is an active, evolving environment, so every day is different. We are looking to fill a year-round, part-time position. Candidates must have experience in customer service, computer work and light food prep.
